American Red Cross Lifeguard Training 2020
Course is designed to prepare lifeguards
candidates to recognize emergencies, respond
\quickly and effectively to emergencies, and pre-
vent drowning. Course included First Aid and
CPR/AED for the professional rescuer. Students
will learn to use a pocket mask and bag-valve
resuscitator.

Pre-Requisites:
• Participant must be at least 15 years old
• Swim 300 yard continuously
• 100 yards front crawl
• 100 yards breaststroke
• 100 yards may be a mixture of front crawl
and breaststroke
• Swim 20 yards front or breaststroke, dive to
the depth of 7 feet, retrieve a 10-pound
brick and with legs only to the starting pt.
Participants must participate and attend all class-
room sessions, demonstrate proficient and water
skills, and pass a written exam with a score of at
least 80 percent.

ment with Valley-Wide Recreation and Park
District.
SESSION: Session I: April 23 , 24, 25, & 26
TIME: Thursday/Friday - 5:00pm - 8:00pm
Saturday/Sunday - 9:00am- 5:00pm
FEE: $200.00 per person
