Halloween Block Party in Valle Vista will be Oct. 19

Join us for the Halloween Block Party Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Valle Vista Community Center. The event runs from 4 to 9:30 p.m. and includes a children's costume contest, games and crafts and concludes with a screening of "Monsters vs. Aliens" once it gets dark. The costume contest for children 12 and younger, activities and the movie are free. Hot dogs, drinks and snacks will be available for purchase. Bring something to sit on if you are staying for the movie in the park. Free popcorn will be available while supply lasts. The center is at Acacia and Fairview.
