Background Information:

Director John Norman was appointed to the Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District Board of Directors in November 2010.

Director Norman is a retired middle school, high school and community college educator and longtime San Jacinto resident. He spent 23 years on the San Jacinto Unified School District Board of Directors, 20 of those as Board President.

He coached high school and community college football for many years and is a member of the Mt. San Jacinto College Athletic Hall of Fame. He still coaches tennis at San Jacinto High School.

He and wife Nanci have two sons and seven grandchildren, many of whom participated in Valley-Wide sports.
