Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District is requesting community feedback for consideration in renaming Regional Park at 901 W. Esplanade Ave., in San Jacinto to Larry Minor Park.
We invite you to submit your feedback by completing and submitting a Naming of District Facilities form. Copies are available at the District Office located at 901 W. Esplanade Avenue, San Jacinto or below. Forms must be returned by April 6, 2026.
All fully completed forms will be reviewed by the Valley-Wide Board of Directors and shall be considered in determining the facility name.
Under Valley-Wide policy, parks shall be named as follows:
1) To reflect the geographical location.
2) To reflect the historical features of the land on or around the park.
3) To reflect the significant or unusual natural features of the land
on or around the park.
4) After a significant individual(s).
